A little something I’ve been adding to my breakfast smoothies lately: spinach. Yup, just whole leaf spinach. It’s soft enough that a blender will puree it so much that you likely won’t even notice any change in texture in your smoothie. You will however notice a change in color of your drink and depending on how much spinach you include you may notice a slight change in taste.
Adding spinach to a smoothie is an easy way to get an extra serving or two of veggies in your day without much effort whatsoever. Plus, I don’t know about you, but the fact that my drink is green makes me feel about 10x healthier about consuming it.
